Men's 3-D
Men's 3-D ( dinner, dessert, and discussion) meets on the third Wednesday evening of every month. The food is prepared by our own cooks and has gained a reputation for excellence. The menu varies from steak, chicken, crawfish, fried catfish, burgers, deer stew, and chili. Dessert is followed by a time of discussion. Speakers have included leaders of local ministries, foreign missionaries and politicians. Sometimes the pastors share on various topics related to being christian husbands and fathers. In January, Wilmer Mills, Bob Peden, and Ross Munson shared about their fishing trip to Alaska.
Men's 3-D is a good time of outreach and encouragment. It provides a safe environment to invite co-workers and friends to the Plains Church. If you plan to come please call the church office, 225-654-2960 and let us know how many folks you are bringing. The meal begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 8:30 PM.
